Gunpowder (125g)
Smooth, classic Chinese green tea
This classic Green China tea. These tight balls of grey-green leaf were originally mistaken for the explosive ‘gunpowder’! Lightly brewed expect a hint of China sweetness, with a dry smooth taste. |
 |
Jasmine (125g)
Traditional Chinese Green tea scented with jasmine.
The most popular of the scented China teas, frequently drunk with Chinese meals. Green-grey leaves are delicately flavoured with wonderfully fragrant, whole jasmine flowers. |

Morrocan Mint(125g)
Middle-Eastern favourite green tea with mint
The original Arabic Green Gunpowder and spearmint blend - super refreshing digestive. Best brewed very light, but locally made strong with sugar. |

Sencha (125g)
Famous, Japanese green tea
The most famous grade of green tea. The youngest leaves and buds from the top of the tea bush are steamed to preserve their colour and the natural vitamins and minerals. The tea has a dry, slightly green-spinachy flavour that is delightful. |

1886 Blend (125g)
This tea is blended strong and drunk with milk in the traditional Australian way. Both Assam and Keemun are black teas with smooth characters. Assam gives a malty strength; Keemun balances it with a smoky body.
1886 was the year Whittard of Chelsea was founded and the year that Indian tea exports overtook Chinese. This smooth blend of Assam and Keemun teas reflects the taste of the time. Delicious brewed strong and drunk with milk. |
